Individual Therapy
You've done everything right. So why does something still feel off?
You are capable. Accomplished. The person everyone else leans on. And yet, underneath all of it, there's a quiet exhaustion you can't quite name.
You can't explain the anxiety, but it's always there. You're thriving at work and drowning everywhere else. You've built the life you wanted, on paper, but something still feels missing. You're the strong one — always — so you stay longer than you should, in jobs, in relationships, in situations that no longer serve you.
If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

Who I work with
I work with driven, ambitious women who are ready to understand why they feel the way they do and make real changes. Many of my clients discover that the patterns holding them back have roots that go further back than they expected. Therapy is a space to explore that, without judgment.
This is therapy for high-achieving women who are accomplished yet anxious. Women who know that burnout, perfectionism, and people-pleasing are patterns, not personality traits.
What we work on together
A place to exhale. No performing. No having it together. Just honest, supported work toward the life you actually want — not the one you've been managing.
Therapy is not one size fits all. Here is what clients most often come to me with — and what we work through together.
Trauma and childhood experiences
Life transitions
Identity and self-worth
Burnout
Many of my clients find that underneath the surface are attachment wounds, which are old patterns from how you learned to get your needs met, long before you had language for it. Read more about how attachment wounds show up in present-day relationships →
Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationships, childhood wounds that still show up, or you're just tired of holding it all together alone, you're in the right place.
What sessions look like
We meet weekly or biweekly, virtually across Colorado and Tennessee, or in person at my Denver office. Sessions are 50 minutes.
Tori Brothers Therapy is an out-of-network provider. A superbill can be provided for potential insurance reimbursement.
You don't need to be in crisis to start. You just need to be ready.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
If you're carrying more than you're showing (anxiety that won't quiet down, relationship patterns that keep repeating, grief you haven't had space to feel), individual therapy gives you a consistent place to slow down and actually look at it.
-
Most clients start weekly, especially in the beginning, and move to biweekly as things stabilize. We'll figure out the right rhythm together.
-
Warm, direct, and trauma-informed. I will not tell you what to do, but I will be honest with you. Sessions are collaborative, and we work together to understand your patterns and build toward real change.
-
That depends on what you are working on and what you want from the process. Some clients come for a focused season of work. Others stay longer for deeper exploration. We will check in regularly to make sure the work is meeting your needs.
-
The short answer is no. Ethically, I cannot see an individual of a couple I work with. But I am always happy to provide a referral to another great provider!
-
First we’ll have a free 15-minute consultation to determine if we are a good fit. Then, we’ll meet weekly to address your therapy goals until it is clinically appropriate to change frequency.
-
The first session is just about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you in and what you think you might like to get out of therapy. My job in that first session is to understand where you are, and yours is just to show up as you are.
-
Having a therapist you can connect with is crucial for therapy to work. If we're not a good fit, I'll help you find someone who is!
-
Therapy is not the one-stop-shop for healing. There are lots of ways you can support your mental health. Most often, though, the clients who think therapy isn’t meant for them just haven’t found thr right therapist for them.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
