Couples Therapy

Maybe you used to feel so connected but now it feels more like you’re roommates.

Somewhere along the way, the conversations got shorter. The same argument keeps circling back, dressed up as something new. Or maybe it's quieter than that, not fighting, just drifting. Either way, you both know something needs to shift, and you're not sure how to start that conversation without it turning into another one.

Many of the couples I work with find that they’ve gotten really good at managing life together, but have forgotten how to connect.

You don't have to figure this out on your own, and you don't have to wait until things are unbearable to ask for help.

Two people are holding hands on a table, with one person wearing a black ring and the other wearing a pink ring. The person with the black ring is wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, and the other person is wearing a beige or light-colored sweater.

Who I work with

I work with couples navigating conflict patterns, emotional disconnection, or trust repair. Some couples come in mid-crisis. Others come in because things are "fine," but fine isn't the same as close, and they want more than fine.

Whether you're rebuilding after a breach of trust, stuck in the same fight on repeat, or just feeling more like coworkers than partners, this is a space to actually be honest — with each other and with yourselves.

What we work on together

No performing here. No proving who's right. Just honest, supported work toward understanding what's actually happening underneath the conflict  and what it would take to feel like a team again.

We'll look at:

  • The patterns that keep showing up in your conflict, even when the topic changes

  • What's driving disconnection and what each of you needs to feel safe and seen

  • Rebuilding trust, if that's what brought you in

  • Communication that works when things get hard, not just when things are easy

What sessions look like

Weekly couples sessions, 50 minutes, virtual across Colorado and Tennessee or in person in Denver. If you're looking for something more intensive and focused, I also offer a 3-hour Communication & Connection Reset intensive for couples who want concentrated, in-depth work in a single session rather than weeks of buildup.
