About Tori Brothers,
LPC-S, NCC
Most of the things keeping you stuck were once survival strategies. They made sense at some point. Therapy is where we figure out what they were protecting and whether you still need them.
I work with women who are good at managing.
My job is to help you move from managing to actually living.
My own experience in therapy allows me to approach this work with deep empathy, humility, and genuine understanding. As a cycle breaker and first generation college graduate, I understand the pressure that comes with creating a different path forward. I also understand the loneliness that comes with being “the strong one.”
I am a Licensed and Board Certified Professional Counselor offering warm, direct, trauma-informed virtual therapy for adults and couples across Colorado and Tennessee. If that sounds like what you have been looking for, I would love to talk.
My approach.
My style is warm and direct. I will not just nod and reflect your words back at you. I will be honest with you, in the way a good partner in this work should be.
My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in attachment theory, which means I pay close attention to how early relationships shape the patterns you carry into adulthood. I draw from multiple evidence-based approaches depending on what you need, including DBT, TF-CBT, EFT, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
My background.
I began my career in higher levels of care before moving into outpatient therapy. I made that shift because I am drawn to relationship work — the ongoing, sustained process of actually knowing someone and supporting their growth over time.
